Regeneration is the radically new approach to the climate crisis, one that weaves justice, climate, biodiversity, and human dignity into a seamless tapestry of action, policy, and transformation that can end the climate crisis in one generation.

Our goal is to end the climate crisis in one generation. Ending the crisis does not complete the challenge of global warming. That is a century-long commitment. Ending the crisis means that by 2030, a critical mass of humanity will come to realize the breadth and depth of the crisis and the possibilities it offers for human and ecological transformation.

Our approach to reversing climate change differs from other proposals. It is based on the idea of regeneration. We do not oppose other strategies and plans. To the contrary, we praise and are grateful for all approaches. Our concern is simple: most people in the world remain disengaged, and we need a way forward that engages the majority of humanity. Regeneration is an inclusive and effective strategy compared to combating, fighting, or mitigating climate change. Regeneration creates, builds, and heals. Regeneration is what life has always done, we are life, and that is our focus. It includes how we live and what we do—everywhere. We have a common interest and that interest can only be served when we come together.

Find Solutions and Challenges Nexus here

We are a team endeavoring to create a comprehensive list of Solutions and Challenges connected to addressing the climate emergency and regenerating planetary ecosystems. These are more than just descriptions. Each Nexus entry explores what can be done on all levels of agency, including individual, community, classroom, city, company, and government. For each topic, we curate organizations that are actively engaged, describe actions that can be taken, link to educational opportunities, and provide examples of transformation. We work collectively and collaboratively and are here to share our research and discoveries with you. We continue to add entries and encourage your suggestions and insights. In 2024, we will make the Nexus database available to nonprofit organizations under a Creative Commons license. This will allow groups to translate Nexus into diverse languages and make it applicable and relevant within different regions and cultures around the world.

Find the Frameworks for Action here

There are six basic frameworks for action to solve the climate crisis. Equity, Reduce, Protect, Sequester, Influence and Support. They overlap in many ways; however, each category holds multiple levels of discovery, innovation, and breakthrough.
