• No apologies for starting 2024 with a grim reminder that the IPCC said that if we are to have any chance of hitting Paris 1.5 by 2050, we simply have to peak GHG emissions by 2025.  Nor for reminding readers that at SUNx Malta we’ve been calling for Tourism to "Bend its GHG Trend" for years. Hopefully, through our CFT Diploma with ITS, & education to action, with 50 CFT Chapters in developing States last year, Including in Ukraine, we are delivering in local communities, where the impact of tourism is truly felt. Now we are going a stage further and calling for communities to work with the SUNx Group to build this thinking into “Plan B” aspirations. We are offering to co-create such plans with tourism stakeholders as we encourage Climate Friendly Travel ecosystems – Communities + Companies + Consumers and to seek finance for such endeavours through our social enterprise CFT Facility. We start with the Tourism ICON of Bali. We are opening a new section on our CFT Registry for this & will include the information as we reach out to UNFCCC and to the wider public through our CFT Club - particularly the millions of young travellers, who hold our dreams for a better future.

  Last, we are re- invigorating our annual KISS campaign with a new KISS for KIDS #CFT education program, reaching out to schools with imaginative online learning systems WATCH THIS SPACE
